Join us as we celebrate 40 years of TRASH with an epic summer picnic! Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 19th Noon-??? as we gather for a day of fun, food, and friendly competition at Settlers Cabin park (Gilbert Love shelter). This is a joint picnic for both TRASH and TRUB, but also open to family and non-members. Please submit the RSVP form above to help us plan our food/supplies purchases.

Here’s a breakdown of what we’re planning:

• Potluck & Grill Out – The club will be providing a variety of grilled meats/patties and buns for all attendees. We are encouraging members to bring sides or desserts to share, just be sure to bring whatever you need to serve. We do not have power outlets available at this shelter.

• The Return of the TRASHy Award – Enter your best beer/cider/mead and compete for the TRASHy award! Open to all dues paid TRASH members, each member can have one entry in the competition. Based on the history of the award, we encourage entries to be served via a keg, but growler/cans/bottles will be accepted. This is a self serve style format, so just make sure your entry is set up to stay cold and is ready to pour. All entries will be assigned a number to allow for voting by tickets. All attendees over 21 will receive a ticket to be used for voting.

• Games – Still TBD, but feel free to bring any games that you’d like to play.

The picnic is free to attend for current dues paid members of TRASH or TRUB, and $10 for any guests/non-members (family/kids are welcome to attend). Feel free to bring other beers to sample just like a regular meeting. We’ll have some coolers and ice, but BYO coolers are also welcome. As this will be a joint TRASH/TRUB picnic, TRUB will be hosting their quarterly competition for Witbiers at the picnic.
